The guest house, originally an Edwardian Gentleman's residence built in 1905, is full of the charm and character that epitomised the era and the nostalgic feel is complemented by period furnishings and original fireplaces.

We are conveniently located a short 10 minute walk from the town centre and all major transport routes are nearby. The historical Shrewsbury Abbey Church, home of the fictional Brother Cadfael, is just around the corner, along with plenty of restaurants, bars, pubs, supermarkets and a multi-screen cinema. Other attractions close to the bed and breakfast include Shrewsbury Castle, Attingham Park, and the world heritage site of Ironbridge is only 14 miles away.

You will find that we have thought of the smallest detail to make your stay as comfortable as possible. All rooms have very comfortable beds, free WiFi internet access, digital TV, DVD and CD players as well as luxury touches including large soft towels, cosy dressing gowns and quality organic toiletries. Welcome trays are well stocked with quality refreshments including herbal teas, hot chocolate, bottled water, biscuits and Lindt chocolates.

We offer a delicious cooked English breakfast, and cater for vegetarian, low fat and coeliac diets. We use locally sourced food of good quality. A microwave and refrigerator are located in the dining room for guest use, and chilled bottled water is supplied freely during the summer months.

There is free on street parking and free secure parking can be arranged, in the guest house's gated yard. Other services include: ironing facilities, baggage store facility, safe storage for bicycles and a wealth of knowledge on the local area.

Our rates are very reasonable for the standard we offer and discounts are available for longer stays.
