Description

A warm welcome awaits you 5 miles south of Shrewsbury at Chatford House.

Chatford House offers newly refurbished, comfortable, ensuite accommodation, tasty breakfasts and a warm welcome .

Situated in a small hamlet only 5 miles South of Shrewsbury, (3 miles from new A5), this Grade II Listed  building is filled with charm and character.

A friendly smile and a refreshing cup of tea or freshly brewed coffee with a piece of  homemade cake served in the Sitting Room or on a warm day in the pretty country garden welcomes you.

Accommodation

All of the bedrooms are situated on the first floor of the house and are equipped with Hospitality trays, hairdryers, a selection of toiletries, a flat screen TV and soft towels.

The Front Master Bedroom - plenty of space, the comfort of a luxurious King-size Brass bed dressed in Egyptian Cotton bed linen.  Leading down two steps is its original oak floored ensuite bathroom with both power shower and corner bath, offering views of garden and the Wrekin.  

The Super king and Twin Bedrooms - both with ensuite shower rooms have all the character you would expect in a country cottage.   Facing East with a good view of the Wrekin, you may wish to open your curtains to welcome in the beautiful sunrise.

Breakfast

A traditional 'Aga' cooked English Breakfast is served in the Dining Room. Fruit Juice, Freshly Made Fresh Fruit Salad, Grapefruit, Prunes,
Organic Yoghurts, Muesli a variety of Cereals, Porridge.

Full English Breakfast - Locally produced Dry Cured Bacon, Sausage, Black Pudding, Mushrooms, Grilled Tomatoes, Baked Beans, Fried Egg (s), Fried Bread, Scrambled, Poached or Boiled Eggs & Toast, Toast with Homemade Jams & Marmalades, Shropshire Honey, Tea and Coffee.

Directions

From the junction of the A5 and A49, south of Shrewsbury (Dobbies roundabout), take the A49 south towards Hereford. Travel for approximately 2 miles before turning right onto an unclassified road. Finish at Chatford House.
