Immaculate new barn conversions to highest standards. Farm set in valley below Wenlock Edge. Spectacular views. Large garden overlooking stocked trout pools. Very peaceful.

Lower Springs Farm is situated in the Kenley Valley beneath Wenlock Edge with the most lovely panoramic views on all sides. The Farm is all grass supporting a fine herd of suckler cows and their calves and a flock of Welsh sheep and their lambs. We have two large pools in front of the house stocked with trout. When we decided to convert our two 19th century barns for tourism we were advised to do them to the highest standards as that was what our guests would demand. And that is what we have produced, two very comfortable and well appointed cottages, warm and cosy in the winter and well ventilated and cool in the summer.

We have preserved and restored all the original oak beams. We also pump our own crystal clear spring water - hence our name. Cottage 1 comprises of a very generously sized lounge, fitted kitchen and bathroom with separate shower cubicle. There is one small double bedroom and a second much larger one. The inequality in size was dictated by the layout of the original oak beams which we have preserved & restored. This is a spacious cottage for 4 people. Cottage 2 comprises an open plan lounge with fitted kitchen, a generous bathroom and comfortable double bedroom. An ideal cottage for two people. There is private parking on the courtyard and our guests are welcome to sit, stroll or B.B.Q. in our large garden. All heating and hot water is included in the rental. Electricity is metered.

Our nearest village is the historic Much Wenlock with its ruined Abbey, Museum and many interesting shops including Mr Ryans, the best butcher in Shropshire. We are within easy reach of Ironbridge, Shrewsbury and several famous gardens. There is a good selection of pubs, restaurants and tea shops in the area. There are endless lovely walks and pony trekking is available two miles away.
