There are 12 car parks in the Shrewsbury, providing approximately 2645 spaces. The enforcement of car parks is undertaken for Shropshire Council by ParkRight.

The car parks are fully accessible 24/7, with the exception of Raven Meadows and Frankwell car parks of which the opening times are detailed above.
Car parks are "Pay and Display" except Raven Meadows Multi Storey, where a "Pay on Foot" system is in operation.
There are no concessions for holders of Disabled Blue Badges.
Street Parking
All town centre street parking is pay and display only. Blue and yellow pay machines are located next to every parking bay in Shrewsbury Town Centre.
Monday to Saturday from 8.00am to 6.00pm (including bank holidays)
The maximum length of stay in most town centre streets is one hour with no returned for two hours, a few have a two hour limit, see the notices on the pay and display machines.
Getting Around Shrewsbury
By Train
Shrewsbury's Railway Station is located in the town centre, by the Castle, the shops and the historic buildings. There is an hourly train service from London Euston via Birmingham or Wolverhampton (less on Sundays) and good connections to other towns. Journey time from London is approximately three hours.
By Coach
National Express runs two direct services from London Victoria and connections from other UK towns serviced by the network. Tel: 08705 808080 for further details.
Park and Ride
Shrewsbury operates an excellent Park and Ride service, which is a cheap and convenient way of getting into the town centre. There are three Park and Ride sites - all signed from main approach roads. Buses run every 10 minutes from 7.30am (8am on Saturdays) to 6.30pm daily except Sundays. There are stops and pick-up points throughout the town centre. Colour coded tickets make it easier to find the right bus.
Wheelchair Mobility
Shrewsbury has designated on-street parking spaces for disabled badge holders. These spaces cab be found on Shoplatch, Castle Street, St. Mary's Street, Claremont Street and Roushill. Parking is free if displaying the badge and clock for the period as indicated on the signs.
Designated parking spaces for disabled people in Raven Meadows multi-storey and in Abbey Foregate car park. Normal car parking charges apply. Some Hackney Carriage taxis are wheelchair accessible. Wheelchair accessible buses operate on all three Park and Ride routes. Normal charges apply.
Shrewsbury Shop Mobility
Operates from Raven Meadows car park, Monday to Saturday 10am to 4pm. Electronic scooters and wheelchairs are available for hire. Reservations are recommended, telephone 01743 236900
Accommodation Booking Service
Shrewsbury TIC takes 10% deposit of the first nights stay on serviced accommodation only. This is re-funded by the accommodation provider by deducting the amount from the bill.
An additional, £3.00 is taken as a non-refundable booking fee. The accommodation booking service is available up to half an hour before closing.
Bookings taken over the telephone, always by credit card, are charged a £ 4.00 non-refundable booking fee in addition to the 10% deposit. It is occasionally necessary to withdraw this facility, during the shrewsbury Flower Show, when phone lines are so busy and available accommodation is extremely limited.
