Hilary Burke Wins Shrewsbury Tourism Association Photo Competition
Directors of Shrewsbury Tourism Association have been delighted with the response to their recent photographic competition. Michael Connor, Chairman of the Association enthused, 'There have been over 100 entries in the competition and entries have been diverse in their content'. Hilary Burke from Shrewsbury has won the competition with a photograph of Milk Street area. She has received two tickets for this year's Shrewsbury Flower Show thanks to Shropshire Horticultural Society.
The three runners up are Barbara Gilbert, Robert Gwilliam and Sam Westley who have received prizes thanks to 'Write Here', Pengwern Books and John Butterworth.
Shrewsbury Tourism are hoping to use the images in their visitor productions and website
