Educational Visit To The Market Hall Hailed A Success!

An educational trip to The Shrewsbury Market Hall has been hailed a success following a visit from pupils at Shropshire's Crowmoor Primary School.
Pupils aged six and seven from the local school visited the Shrewsbury shopping destination as part of their education programme focusing on town and country.
The trip was organised by The Shrewsbury Market Hall in conjunction with Shropshire, Telford & Wrekin Education Business Partnership.
"It was a fantastic opportunity for pupils to see first hand the benefits of fresh produce and the children were even given the opportunity to sample some of it themselves, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves", said Amy Miller, Year Two Teacher at Crowmoor Primary School.
"The pupils were split into different groups and were also able to interview some of the traders who were very helpful and were able to answer their questions" added Amy.
With more vocational courses in schools and colleges, The Market Hall is keen to raise awareness of the benefits of seeing first hand how an establishment operates on a day-to-day basis.
"Educational visits are among the most memorable experiences in a child's school life and this was a fantastic opportunity for the Market Hall to provide educational value that they can build on in class" said Kate Gittins, Site Facilities Manager for The Market Hall.
